Haven't posted anything in a while. Too much thinking and too less drawing. Been completely and obsessively absorbed in figuring out this immense project in front of me. I certainly didn't think it would be easy to do a 140 page comic in colors from another persons script, but for a perfectionist and a creative control freak, this whole thing has been, and is, a sandwich way to big to gape over—I gotta learn the art of nibbling.
Here's some random stuff.
Some clean-up tests and a test in atmospheric fading.
Another one of those book sketches.
Two tests on the comic I'm working on.
An apologetic extra book sketch of the always sexy, B.P.R.D.
A couple of development sketches I did a while back for an animated film about the Danish philosopher, Søren Kierkegaard.
Something I dug out of an old folder, just a test. I think these characters belong to someone, a young German artist, but it's too long ago for me to remember the details. You, whoever you are, if you find me, sue me.
And finally, a Sam Hiti inspired sketch of a demon samurai, for no apparent reason, other than the fact that I adore his work.
