camomile

two of my good friends and me made a short animated film a couple of weeks ago. Here it is http://www.vimeo.com/5109510. We had a week to do pre-production and then 4 days to do around 35 seconds of finished animation. My focus was on the storyboard, the character design, the color palettes, the backgrounds and the cleanup. The other two guys did all the animation, recorded the sounds, edited the film and all the rest of the finishing touch-ups.

Here's a chunk of the storyboard. Quick and sloppy work, but it works fine.

Character design.

One of the backgrounds. A vertical pan.

Dude your drawings never cease to amaze me! Love the shaman drawing. Who are your favorite comic artists? I see a lot of Hugo Pratt and Nicolas de Crecy influence in your drawings. Hot stuff keep it up!
