birdmen & smackheads

Hey again. Trying to figure out what I'm doing at the moment when it comes to drawing. The style, the lines, the colors... so many choices and I'm one of those people who can't really decide anything.

Here's a little something I did to prepare myself for possible future jobs in newspapers. A politician, their queen, another politician, some lame rapper and finally, the Antichrist.

I've written a short comic about to brothers to practice on my storytelling. Trying hard to figure out the look. Feels like I might have hit something right here.

Finally I have a light table again. Feels like ages since I've drawn with ink. Feels really nice. This is for the ongoing buddy blog, burning wet dinosaurs. (Thanks for a great weekend guys;)

I'm the same. My print work revolves around two distinct styles while my cartooning/comics work looks totaly different again. I think the trick is to use a style that is right for the job at had. If you are versatile then all to the good. Instinct has a lot to do with it to. Some times you just have to go with a feeling. Your work is great, expressive and quite unique. I love it.

I love the shapes of your characters. It would be nice to see some images of your working process.
